Sitting Out This is when you choose to leave a table for a few hands. If a Player sits out for more than fifteen minutes, or has missed two rounds of blinds, they are removed from the table. If a player decides to sell some of their tournament action, but unregister from the tournament before it begins, the staking funds will be returned to the players that bought a stake and will not be retained by the selling player. Casinos have different rules about whether or not a new player has to post a big blind before they can get their first hand. At my local casinos, you have to post if you're moving from a different table, but don't have to post if you're new.
In a tournament when a player joins as the big blind they can play straight away. Otherwise I dont think they are allowed to play until after the Dealer button has passed. Might be slightly different in cash games. Online you get the option to post the BB straight away, not really sure if that counts for all positions though. Blind Use. I very much doubt someone would ever have to pay the blinds twice in a row or anything like that.

Unibet reserves the right to change the parameters of any tournament at any time without notice.
Seats are assigned at random. Seat changes are not permitted. Prizes will be awarded as stated in the Specific Tournament Lobby, except when the tournament is cancelled see Unibet Tournament Cancellation Policy. Which prize structure is used depends on several factors including the number of entrants and the number of players per table.
The prize structure is not finalized until registration has closed. Late registration: Late registration is available in most tournaments. The length of the late registration period varies, but will always be shown in the Tournament Info dialog, which can be seen in the Full Tournament Lobby. Late registration time is measured in tournament levels.
Back to my personal homepage I have set up a private home league for MIT S50, on Pokerstars. To pass, you need to attend at least 6 out of 8 lectures and accumulate 10 points playing online poker tournaments in the league. There are no PSets or Exams.

So a player tournament awards 20 points and a player tournament awards 50 points. The points awarded are spread across the top third of participants, with a higher proportion going to higher placements in the finish order. Rounding may occur to ensure that total points equal total players and top third of players is a whole number. You have earned 5 points for this class. Note that these points will only count toward passing, and not toward prizes, because I want the Standings in the PokerStars Lobby to be correct for the prizes.
